Photography or Videography

As photography and videography are both very different approaches I usually provide either photography or videography for your wedding day. Having said that if you are only having a relatively small wedding and it is feasible there may be an opportunity to combine these.

How would you describe your style?

I love to photograph people and their environment, which makes weddings perfect for my photography and Videography passion.  I enjoy telling the story of the day, capturing the natural flow of things, from the pre-ceremony nerves, to the post ceremony happiness and everything in-between, the emotion, the tears, the fears, the humour,  the places, and every subtle detail that makes your day unique.

Every wedding is different, personal; the couple and their individual relationship, family, friends, the location, the weather and the light, it is these nuances that I love to observe and capture, creating a lasting visual accompaniment to your memories.

I work in a documentary style, mixed with a little portraiture, although it would be nice to say you won't notice me there are times when a little romantic direction may be given simply to capture those perfect moments..

How long will you be with us on a typical wedding day?

I normally plan to arrive once the prep is underway, capturing each part of the day, leaving a little after the first dance, once I have captured the atmosphere of the evening.

If you would like me to stay for longer then this can be arranged.

You will receive around 400 edited, high resolution digital images, in a mixture of colour and black and white.

These will also be provided on a password protected online gallery for downloading and sharing.

Editing takes time so I aim to have your pictures to you within four weeks.

As everyone has different requirements I no longer produce any physical items unless requested, this cuts down on any waste, USB’s when you only have iPads, albums when you only want digital etc. This also makes sharing images and videos with family and friends around the globe much easier. This also means you receive all your images, Low resolution and High resolution as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting for third party suppliers.

Although I primarily shoot in Digital for Wedding I do shoot a little Analog Film, If you are a lover of the more traditional methods of Photography then let’s chat about incorporating a little more into your daY.

You will receive a high quality main feature movie of you day,

A full copy of the ceremony and your speeches,

A 1 minute ‘social media’ main highlights Video.

If you would like any digital stills taken from your video this will be an additional £100 per 50 stills.

Do you do additional shoots; pre-wedding, engagement, post wedding?

Yes, if you would like them, These can be arranged at a mutually agreed location and are an additional cost, prices will vary dependant on location & time so ask for further details.

Do you travel for weddings?

I am more than happy to travel, every destination is different so please get in touch with the details for a quote.

Can you produce albums, USB’s and prints?

Yes, if you would like any of these after the wedding then I can produce these.

USB £30.

A basic 10” x 8” album, of approximately 60 pages - £120, 13” x 11” - £140.

High Quality ‘Folio’ Albums, in high quality cotton or leather bound, 10” x 10” - 40 pages £300, 12’ x 12“ - 40 pages £340.

What can we expect to pay for wedding photography or videography

I understand that every wedding is unique; weekend, weekday, half day, split days, elopement, down South, up North, with an Album, without an album … therefore I approach each potential booking with this in mind.

I would love nothing more than to capture and preserve your special day so please fill in my contact form with as much information as possible to allow me to provide you with a more detailed quote.

We're interested, what next?

Just get in touch with as much information as possible especially dates and the location (or the area if you haven't decided) so I can confirm availability.  We can then plan a meeting, Skype or FaceTime, where we can get to know each other a little more! I look forward to hearing from you.
